Back in 1980 the bike was priced at (in today’s money, inflation corrected) $5400. You were supposed to be batshit crazy to pay THAT amount then. But it was a super “halo” bike everyone wanted. $5400 for the whole package with top-of-the-line Campagnolo Super Record groupset. Today $5400 don’t even get you a bare frameset without bottom bracket, not to mention the whole package with handlebars, wheels, saddle and shifters. Cycling has priced itself out from normal people and went straight to stratosphere. Soon it’s all gonna crash spectacularly. Billions will perish.

Colnago is cool with that. However, if you’re looking for a bike that handles beautifully, like a bike you’ve ridden for years, it is worth checking one out”. Who doesn’t want a bike like that?? The reality is only people with lots of disposable income but these overpriced bikes!! The cost is ludicrous! Quite laughable actually!
