Alpitude already made one of the world’s lightest bottle cages with their 9g carbon Superleggero cages that we tested five years ago. But there’s only so light you can go and still hold onto your bottles. So, up in the heart of the Italian Dolomites, Alpitude decided to go exclusive instead.
The new cages are selective laser melting 3D-printed from titanium for strength and durability. They share a similar shapes as Alpitude’s standard 80€ minimalist carbon cages, but with a stronger reinforced support for the bottom of your bidon. They may be made with additive metal manufacturing. But Alpitude harkens back to the days of subtracting metal to save weight with classic drillium styling.
Alpitude claims each Superleggero Ti cage weighs just 14.7g, so they won’t weight you down.
