If you drink as much Pacifico Clara as I do, there’s a reason why you do it. Maybe it’s the beer itself, with its extremely reliable clean and refreshing profile. Or maybe it’s the branding, with the cool ring buoy, bright red mountain, tattoo-style anchor insignia, and unflinching yellow.

The Pacifico Performer lays the yellow-clad Mexican beer’s aesthetic on thick with a Pacifico-branded frame, fork, and saddle. Maxxis tires look carefully chosen for their yellow lettering, and five-spoke mags help draw attention to contrast.
For Pacifico, it’s an ad spot, but for GT, it’s a callback to the American company’s roots. The bike builder introduced its first bright yellow bike, the Pro Performer, in 1985.
GT most famously made BMX bikes, and the Pacifico Performer’s black mags salute that heritage in the first time the company’s adapted the structure to a full-size wheel. BMX bars set it off with a playful touch.
A custom Pacifico number plate, GT Mallet stem, GT Power Series Alloy cranks, and plenty of yellow and gold leaf embellishments round out the single speed build.
Next year is GT’s 50th anniversary. I don’t know if the Pacifico Performer is a sign that the brand is celebrating or not, but I’ll raise an ice cold cerveza to it regardless.
