Mosaic’s booth was full of their usual custom titanium road, cyclocross and hardtail mountain bikes, but the news was gravel “plus” and paint. Starting on the surface, some of their newer finish options would give Mr. Sparkle a run for his money with an ultra-glittery bass boat shine. Or, go with an extremely smooth fade between two colors. Mosaic GT1 Gravel “Plus”
The Mosaic GT1 is their original gravel bike, which was designed around available components at the time. Now that ENVE has a new gravel fork with more clearance, they could make a version with much bigger tire clearance.
The original GT1 maxed out at 38-40mm tires. With the fork clearing up to 700×50, they maxed out at 700×45 for the frame.
They can do a 650B version that’ll run up to a 47, but with 650×42 they can bring in the rear end a little for tighter handling. Which is the beauty of custom, they’ll make the bike to suit what you want to put on it and do with it.
Or stick with the original for a racier bike that’s still ready for big days, day after day.
